Henry Schein One is looking for a motivated intern to join our engineering team and support exciting work at the intersection of AI and business automation. In this role, you'll collaborate with technology and business leaders to research, test, and help implement AI-powered tools and automation solutions that drive real impact across the organization.

Day-to-day, you'll assist with project coordination, conduct research on emerging technologies, document workflows, and contribute to special initiatives as they arise. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise AI tools while developing your professional skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, has a curiosity for AI and emerging technology, and brings strong communication and organizational skills. No prior work experience required — just a willingness to learn and contribute.

What You Will Have:

• Familiarity with AI tools, large language models (LLMs), or automation platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar)

• Basic understanding of software development concepts or scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar)

• Ability to evaluate and document AI/automation tools and workflows

• Experience or coursework in data analysis, prompt engineering, or process automation

• Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize technical information into clear recommendations

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new technology platforms quickly

The expected starting hourly salary for this position is $23 for an individual who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
