Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Management Intern to join our Product team within the B2C and B2B organizations. This intern will work closely with product managers to help shape the future of broadband products and services. The role focuses on writing clear and actionable product requirements and user stories, along with conducting data analysis to support new product features, improvements, and performance monitoring.
This is a hands-on internship that offers valuable exposure to real-world product development in a rapidly evolving, high-impact industry.
Responsibilities
- Draft and refine detailed product requirements documents (PRDs) and user stories for new and existing internet services and features (e.g., speed tiers, WiFi experience, equipment upgrades, etc.).
- Perform data analysis to evaluate product performance, identify trends, and support go-to-market decisions.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and customer care teams to ensure product initiatives are aligned and delivered on time.
- Participate in agile product development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming.
- Assist in competitive research and benchmarking of internet offerings across the broadband industry.
- Help track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and user engagement metrics to inform future product enhancements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (MBA preferred) in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create structured, clear documentation and user stories.
- Analytical thinker comfortable with data analysis, using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of product management principles and the agile development process.
- Interest in internet technologies, broadband services, and consumer connectivity products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or experience in product management, data analytics, consumer technology, or telecommunications.
- Exposure to SQL, Tableau, Looker, Excel or other analytics and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Figma.
- Understanding of home networking, WiFi standards, modems/routers, or customer experience design is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments and take initiative on projects.
