As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll join our highly skilled R&D Amex GBT Neo team.
AmexGBT Neo is an online booking tool (OBT) and expense tool for business travel through a SaaS deployment. It allows users to search and book business trips in a user-friendly and performant web application and also enables users to claim additional expenses for reimbursement, including expenses captured from credit card statements, OCR of receipts, and manually entered claims. The service computes policies, reimbursement rules, and ensures compliance with certifications such as PCI-DSS.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
Work in a SCRUM team
Assist in the design, development, and testing of new applications and
features
Participate in the evolution and maintenance of existing systems
Help deploy features and monitor the platform
Propose new ideas to enhance the product either functionally or
technically
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of C# and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Eagerness to learn and master new technologies.
Familiarity with unit testing and TDD methodology is a plus.
Strong team spirit, analytical and synthesis skills.
Passion for software craftsmanship, excellence, and clean code.
Fluent in English (multicultural and international team).
