Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our team and assist in Yard Welding Engineering. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for active students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment
ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:
Under supervision and with guidance, you will be involved in learning and assisting with:
- Research and Development in Welding Technology.
- Execute welding in Oil and Gas / Renewable Energy Production facility.
- Welding Consumable handling, storage and treatment
- Welder Qualification Training and Qualification
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Active college student in S1. (Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
- Internship placement is available in McDermott Batam Fabrication Yard, and the minimum duration should be done in (2 Months).
- Applicants should not be participating in another internship program.
- Applicants should have strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions

Skills Required
- Active college student in D3/D4/S1 majoring in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or related major
- Not currently participating in another internship program
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
- Internship placement at McDermott Batam (on-site)
- Willingness to participate in safety meetings and follow all safety protocols
