- The legislation related to nitrogen deposition is changing. In order to apply successfully for new nature permits for projects and activities of Shell Pernis, we need to be aware of the changes and adapt to them. This means that we need a solid legal framework in which we can successfully apply for permits. The goal of the internship is to investigate the new and current legislation around nitrogen deposition, how the legislation relates to the current situation of Shell Pernis, and to provide a path forward in how we might apply for nature permits in the future. The intern will be working in the environmental team of Shell Pernis where the intern will work closely with the persons that are responsible for the permit applications, that communication with relevant lawyers, and are the contact persons of the competent authorities. The end product of the internship would be an advisory report with a legal strategy to apply for a nature permit.
