Job Summary:
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting the development, organization, and management of customer-facing and internal training materials within a Professional Services organization. The intern will assist with structuring training content, tracking learning objectives, standardizing materials, and managing the status of training deliverables across multiple initiatives.This role is designed for students pursuing degrees in Learning Management Systems (LMS), Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design (LxD), Education Technology, or related fields who want exposure to real-world training development in a professional environment.
The intern will not be expected to independently design training programs, but will instead support subject matter experts, trainers, and the LMS Manager to ensure training materials are organized, consistent, complete, and aligned to defined objectives.
Job Description:
- Support the development of customer-facing training documentation by assisting Professional Services trainers and SMEs
- Help organize and structure training materials related to:
- Fleet Management industry fundamentals and best practices
- FleetFocus system functionality
- Assist with preparing instructor materials, FAQs, reference guides, and supporting documentation
- Help ensure training content is clear, consistent, and formatted according to defined standards
- Assist in tracking training objectives, learning outcomes, and content coverage
- Help maintain visibility into the status of training materials
- Support coordination between Professional Services and the LMS Manager to ensure materials are ready for use
- Assist in standardizing training materials using approved templates and formats
- Support organization of training content within shared repositories
- Support internal product and process training efforts for Professional Services teams
- Help align internal training materials with customer-facing content to ensure consistency
- Assist with organizing internal training curricula, learning paths, or reference materials
Preferred:
- Prior internship, academic, or project experience involving process improvement, documentation, analytics, or technology.
- Familiarity with Confluence or other knowledge management platforms.
- Experience with AI, automation, or operational efficiency tools.
- Ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly.
