Intern ‐ Sustainability
(Based at Battaramulla)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Map the scope and conduct baseline surveys of pollution in rivers, lagoons, and lakes in Sri Lanka
- Conduct research on global best practices and policies in waste management
- Coordinate with government agencies and other project partners throughout the project
- Conduct biodiversity baseline surveys and research at selected project sites
- Prepare project-related reports, presentations, and documentation
- Assist with project-related procurement work
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Undergraduate student or recent graduate in Technology / Biological Science graduate or relevant field
- Previous research and project experiences in Waste management, Community engagement, Biodiversity conservation
- Previous experience in ArcGIS and other mapping software
- Willingness to travel and work on-site
- Strong communication and coordination skills
