Movado Group is seeking a highly motivated law student to join its Legal Department as a Summer Associate. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the operations of a global public company and offers meaningful involvement in a range of in-house legal matters, including commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, legal research, and day-to-day advisory support to business stakeholders.
The Summer Associate will work closely with attorneys and cross-functional partners across the organization, gaining practical experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the drafting, review, and administration of a variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs and distribution contracts.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on issues affecting the company’s domestic and international operations and prepare concise, business-focused memoranda.
  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives, including data privacy matters and product-related compliance requirements.
  • Participate in the development and updating of internal policies, templates, and compliance materials.
  • Provide general support on other projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide practical, risk-based legal guidance.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a dynamic business environment.
  • Prior corporate or in-house experience is a plus but not required.

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00.
