ResponsibilitiesAbout the role:

In this role you will:
- Build dealer relationships, help them achieve their sales objectives and maintain communication with dealers and internal partners.
- Support and market all GM Financial programs, systems, monthly incentives and rewards.
- Learn the responsibilities for sales, service and support of GM franchise dealers by demonstrating our captive value proposition and programs.
- Provide quality customer service by satisfying the business needs of the dealers, manufacturer partners and GM Financial, including acting as liaison between the dealer and the Credit Center, Funding and other functional areas to resolve any issues.
- Analyze dealer-specific data using reporting tools and take appropriate action.

- Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Previous internships are considered a plus.
Additional Knowledge and Skills
Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:
- Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
- Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
- Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
- Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
Work Education and Experience
- Must be a current student at least 21 years of age at the start of the program, pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship.
- Rising Senior classification preferred.
- Preferred majors include Business, Finance, Automotive Dealership Management, Sales, Marketing or other related fields.
- Must possess a minimum 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA.
Our program offers:
- 11 weeks of paid work experience (May 26, 2027 - August 6, 2027)

- Career development with fast track to be considered for a full-time Strategic Account Manager role.
Working Conditions: This internship will be based out of Fort Worth, Texas. Travel will be required to out-of-state credit centers, field sales shadows and dealership observation. Must be able to work independently or in a team setting of 4-6 interns and commit to 40-hour work weeks for the entire internship.
Compensation: Competitive pay of $22/hour. Furnished apartment and car-pool vehicle provided; all travel expenses paid during the program.
