PineBridge is seeking a Summer Intern within our Risk Team, based in Hong Kong.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with automation projects using Python, VBA & SQL database, by working with the investment risk team to develop process enhancement tools which will contribute directly to adding to the team’s efficiency.
- To develop the state-of-art risk analysis model with the use of existing Python package. This includes the development of user interface.
- Perform data analysis on trade data.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduates (2nd or 3rd year) in Quantitative Finance, Computer Engineering and / or Mathematics.
- Must be familiar with Python and VBA
- Knowledge of SQL, machine learning, and Dash is a plus.
- Must be pro-active, self-motivated, diligent and well organized.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal), proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) is a plus
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg would be a plus.
- Strong ability to interact effectively with peers
