Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detailed-orientated Quality Control Intern to support our Quality team during summer 2026. This role provides hands-on experience in quality systems, documentation control, and inspection processes within a manufacturing environment.- Review, organize, and maintain electronic quality documentation in accordance with internal procedures
- Support audits of manufacturing areas to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
- Assist with visual and mechanical inspection of incoming supplier components and finished products
- Participate in cross-functional meetings as a representative of the Quality team
- Document test results, defects, and non-conformances, and communicate findings to QA staff and management
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality department
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Ability to work on-site 20–40 hours per week; this is a fully in-office (non-remote) position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities with minimal notice
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus
