About the Role:
As a QA Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You’ll work closely with the engineering team to design, execute, and maintain test cases, automate testing processes, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software quality. This role is an excellent opportunity to apply QA concepts in a real-world environment, sharpen your technical skills, and learn industry best practices in software testing and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts for web and/or API testing.
- Support regression testing and continuous integration pipelines.
- Document and execute test cases, report defects, and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage.
- Document test results and provide feedback on application usability and performance.
- Learn and apply QA best practices in a real-world product environment.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of QA concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript).
- Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Karate) is a plus.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and tools like Postman is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus (Nice to Have):
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
- Basic understanding of database queries (SQL).
- Prior internship, academic project, or coursework involving QA or test automation.
- Curiosity for new technologies and a passion for building reliable, user-friendly products.
