As an Project Engineer Intern, you will work directly within one of DEME’s project teams across any of our activities, including dredging, offshore, environmental, and infra. You’ll be given the opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge in real-world contexts, supporting both the technical and operational aspects of our projects.Your responsibilities

Act as a bridge between the project team and on-site crews or vessel teams, helping to coordinate operational aspects of project execution

Assist in the day-to-day follow-up of project tasks, helping to monitor progress and optimize team performance

Collaborate with project engineers and site managers to maintain clear, consistent communication and support on operational logistics.

Support in project planning, budgeting, and execution calculations.

Contribute to progress reports and technical assessments for internal review and client communication.
Your profile

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).

Strong interest in marine, civil, or environmental engineering, with some familiarity with project management and field operations.

Effective communicator, with the ability to work well in a team and interact with both technical and operational teams.

Flexible and willing to work at project sites, or travel when required.

Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
