Job Description Summary
Novartis’ US Patient and Provider Insights & Analytics team is seeking talented individuals, to intern with integrated insights. This role located in Hyderabad, will provide comprehensive opportunity to get guidance from Novartis Leads who deliver insights and analytics for a designated product or a particular disease area. The candidate will work with Novartis Business Analytics Group, and playing a crucial role to supporting commercial, payer, patient services, and medical teams. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of managed markets/ market access, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive impactful outcomes. Intern/Asso. Analyst will work on assigned workstreams, drive insight generation, and collaborate closely with both Hyderabad and East Hanover (EH) Leads to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Explore, develop, implement, and scale up solutions that address customer needs. Co-create with key stakeholders to build partnerships & collaborations.
- Collaborate with Hyderabad leads to ensure comprehensive market, segmentation, and behavioural analyses are incorporated.
- Superior analytical skills, with experience in using tools such as Excel for analysing and visualizing data. Must be comfortable transforming data into visually understandable formats using standard tools/charting methods.

- Basic understanding of the US Pharma market and product commercialization will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of payer landscapes and managed markets will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of storyboarding and behavioural sciences
- Experience in interpreting commercial market data is preferred
- Require knowledge in quantitative analysis with a demonstrated focus in analytics, and experience with coding languages (SQL OR Python) to query and extract data. Also, experience with BI tools, working with very large data sets is a plus.
- Learn and build the foundation for more sophisticated approaches to analysis and advanced analytics wherever it is required and beneficial.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key functional stakeholders.

Additional qualifications are as follows:
- Graduate / Post-graduate in Engineering / Pharmacy / Medicine / Science / Statistics / Business or related fields (including MS/MPH)
- A specialization in Data Science is desirable
- Fluency in English is a pre-requisite
- 0-1 years of professional experience preferred

- Strong analytical thinking with problem solving approach
- Basic understanding of storyboarding and behavioural sciences
