The Opportunity

We are seeking a Strategic Projects / Business Support Intern to join our Asia Pacific Operations team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting regional strategic initiatives, operational improvement projects, and market engagement activities across Asia.

Working closely with the Operations and Project Manager, you will contribute to initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and support business growth, while gaining exposure to the wider Lloyd’s insurance marketplace.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of a regional transformation project focused on future operating models and ways of working
  • Assist in planning and coordinating operational initiatives, including timelines, tracking progress, and documentation
  • Analyse and interpret data to support reporting, insights, and process improvement
  • Prepare high-quality materials such as presentations, reports, meeting notes, and action trackers
  • Contribute to business process design and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams and locations to support communication and delivery of projects
  • Assist in preparing materials to support market engagement across Singapore and the Asia Pacific region
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas to support operational excellence

What We’re Looking For
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in any discipline
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel; experience with Power BI or Tableau is advantageous)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and an interest in data-driven insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in financial services, insurance, or reinsurance
