For our location in Hanover we are looking for you with immediate effect as an
Intern (m/f/d) in Battery Testing and Data Analysis
As part of your internship, which is scheduled to last at least 4 months, you will gain a variety of insights into battery testing and data analysis and support our team in day-to-day business.
You will take on the following tasks:
Supporting the setup and execution of battery tests, including installation of thermocouples and sensors
Assisting with the collection, processing, and analysis of both laboratory test data and field data from real-world battery applications
Creating clear and insightful visualizations to communicate findings and trends in battery behaviour
Documenting test procedures, results, and findings in a clear and structured manner
Contributing to the development and validation of models for automotive batteries
Collaborating with engineers to improve test protocols and data analysis workflows
Your qualifications:
Advanced degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or a comparable field of study
Practical experience or strong interest in hands-on laboratory work and experimental setups
Familiarity with Python for data analysis and visualization
Experience with SQL and PowerBI is a plus
Basic understanding of battery mechanisms and operation
You are confident in using MS-Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
You have a very good command of German and English
