Intern - Innovation
Based at MAS Capital - Intimates, Rathmalana
We are seeking a creative, analytical, and detail-oriented individual to support the development of innovative products and concepts within the Innovation team. The successful candidate will contribute to design and development projects, collaborate with cross functional teams, conduct research and analysis, and support innovation initiatives from ideation through execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support innovation and product development projects by contributing to concept creation, design, and execution activities.
- Assist in researching market trends, consumer insights, emerging technologies, and innovative product opportunities.
- Create and develop design concepts using CAD and Adobe Illustrator tools.
- Support project planning, tracking, and coordination activities to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making and innovation initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and visual materials to communicate ideas and project outcomes effectively.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across technical, design, and business functions.
- Demonstrate curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to explore new ideas and solutions.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Design, Textile & Clothing, Fashion Design, Product Design, Innovation, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software and Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong creativity with a passion for innovation and product development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good project management and organizational capabilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong business awareness and commercial mindset.
Skills Required
