Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Industrial Engineering team in conducting time studies and work measurements.
- Support method study and process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in preparing and updating Standard Minute Value (SMV) and operation-related data.
- Support production line balancing and workstation optimization.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing line efficiency and productivity.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and process inefficiencies.
- Support capacity planning and manpower planning activities.
- Assist in developing and maintaining Operation Bulletin (OB) and related IE documentation.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with layout improvement and workstation arrangement activities.
- Support productivity improvement projects and monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and data analysis related to IE activities.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other relevant departments to support manufacturing improvements.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, safety standards, and work instructions.
- Perform any other IE-related duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
- Currently following a Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Students who are required to complete an industrial training/internship as part of their academic program are encouraged to apply.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and data analysis.
- Good problem-solving and logical thinking abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Production and cross-functional teams.
- Good attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Skills Required
