**Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from May 27, 2025 through August 15, 2025. Department/Position Description:
Sustainable Products
The sustainable products team is responsible for the environmental and social aspects of the 300,000 products the great local brands of ADUSA offer. Climate (Scope 3), nature, and human rights are key areas of focus for the team.
The intern for this position will be interested in learning more about product sustainability, putting ambitions into action and assisting our company in achieving its goals.
Project includes:

  • Supporting the implementation of ADUSA's Scope 3, carbon reduction roadmap.
  • Supporting ADUSA's contribution to the company's global human rights due diligence program, including work on Human Rights Impact Assessments.
  • Supporting ADUSA's contribution to the company's nature and biodiversity goals, including target setting, data gathering/analysis, strategy development, and regenerative agriculture program implementation.
  • Developing a framework for evaluating and reporting product traceability pilot successes, learnings, and future opportunities.
  • Contributing to, and supporting, ADUSA's participation in multi-stakeholder initiatives, e.g., Seafood Task Force, Dairy Sustainability Alliance.
  • Supporting communication and stakeholder relations strategy for product sustainability.
