Project Description
The Global Procurement organization plays a key role in enabling Micron's growth through supply chain resiliency, data-driven decision-making, sustainability initiatives, and procurement excellence. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement operations, digital transformation, and data analytics within a global business environment.
The intern will participate in a structured project focused on developing AI-Enabled procurement solutions, enhancing data visibility, and improving operational workflows. Through mentorship and project ownership, the intern will gain exposure to procurement systems, supply chain processes, data analytics, Agentic AI solutions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Objective of the Project
To develop and implement AI-Enabled analytics and process improvement solutions that enhance procurement visibility, operational efficiency, and decision-making capabilities within Front End Materials Procurement Operations.
Opportunities for Full Time Employment

- Procurement Systems & Analytics
Develop and enhance procurement dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization solutions to improve operational visibility and business insights.
Evaluate opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence and Agentic AI capabilities for procurement data management and decision support. - Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze procurement and supply chain datasets to identify trends, risks, optimization opportunities, and performance improvement areas.
Explore the use of Generative AI, AI Assistants, and Agentic Solutions to improve analytical workflows and reporting efficiency. - Process Excellence
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to map existing workflows and identify opportunities for process simplification and automation.
Design and validate recommendations that improve efficiency and operational effectiveness. - Strategic Sourcing Analytics
Evaluate supplier performance data, sourcing metrics, capacity information, and business requirements to generate actionable insights that support supply continuity and commercial objectives. - Performance Reporting
Develop management reporting frameworks and procurement metrics that improve tracking, governance, and decision-making capabilities.
