Project Description:
Probe Auxiliary equipment plays a critical role in supporting wafer bake, inspection and packaging operations. To improve equipment reliability, productivity, and reduce human dependency, continuous enhancement initiatives are required. This internship provides hands-on exposure to mechanical design, prototyping, and basic automation concepts applied in real manufacturing operations.
- In this project, the intern will support simple mechanical design activities such as fixtures, jigs, or minor equipment improvements for Probe Auxiliary tools.
- The intern will apply rapid prototyping techniques, including 3D printing, to validate enhancement ideas quickly.
- The intern will gain exposure to basic automation or AI concepts used to improve equipment reliability and reduce human error.
- The intern will assist engineers in testing, documenting, and reviewing equipment enhancement ideas.
- The intern will learn structured problem-solving approaches and safe engineering practices in a manufacturing environment.
Scope:
- Basic mechanical design using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Rapid prototyping using 3D printing
