Redaptive is seeking a highly motivated engineering graduate to join our team. In this role, you will partner with a team of highly qualified engineers to review and analyse field/audit reports related to HVAC projects. You will also extract necessary information by applying engineering principles and concepts. At the same time, use spreadsheet tools such as MS Excel to save and process extracted data.

Additionally, you will use your excellent communication skills to provide and receive feedback from internal stakeholders. This position reports to the Manager of Energy Engineering.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze data from:
• Site audit reports focused on HVAC systems
• Utility bills
• Equipment specifications/nameplate
• As-built Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Drawings
• Extract data from PDFs, MS Word, and BMS (Building Management Systems) portals and organize the same in MS Excel. Efficiently manage large data sets spreading across multiple columns/rows and including various data formats (text, number, dates, etc.).
• Perform high-level energy use/savings calculations on HVAC equipment including but not limited to: Roof Top Units (RTUs), Split Units, Boilers, Chillers, Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Additional duties as required.
• Typical working hours will be 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM IST to provide requisite overlap with our US counterparts

Job Requirements

• Sound technical knowledge and a high degree of familiarity with HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with a wide range of energy conservation measures and mechanical equipment
• Has a good understanding of industry standards (ex. ASHRAE Level 1&2 Audits).
• Knowledge of Solar PV, Renewable Energy, and Electric Vehicles will be an added advantage
• Organized with an eye for detail. Follow-up and drive tasks to completion.
• Should be comfortable handling large quantities of information and keep it organized.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
• Able to carry out desktop research independently/with minimal guidance.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated focus and interest in HVAC related subjects during academic years.
