About the Role
Join our Digital & AI Transformation initiatives under Edwards Japan Quality team (Waku Waku DX Japan) working on real-world, Digital tools, and AI systems. This internship is designed not only as a learning experience but also as an opportunity to actively contribute to real business impact with a hands-on engineering role.
As a Digital & AI Transformation Intern, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support and accelerate initiatives in digital transformation, AI/GenAI adoption, data analytics, and process automation. You will play a hands-on role in identifying opportunities, testing innovative solutions, and delivering practical outcomes.
This is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about innovation, technology, and business transformation to gain real-world experience in a global corporate environment.
What You’ll Work On
- Build and support AI-enabled applications and platforms
- Support Digital Transformation and AI initiatives across Japan organization
- Assist in development and implementation of AI / GenAI use cases
- Perform data analysis, visualization, and insight generation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions
- Contribute to digital tool adoption (e.g., Copilot, automation tools, analytics platforms)
- Participate in pilot projects and proof-of-concept activities
- Document learnings, best practices, and outcomes
Who Should Apply
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Strong foundation in software engineering and object-oriented programming
