Job Description
This internship with the CPG Technical Communications team provides hands-on experience working with cutting-edge electronic design automation (EDA) technologies while exploring how AI can transform technical communication.
You will work at the intersection of technical writing, AI, and automation, helping improve how technical information is created, managed, and delivered to customers.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience with industry-leading EDA technologies for custom IC design and simulation.
- Develop clear, user-focused documentation that helps customers make the best use of Cadence products in their design flows.
- Contribute to customer-focused technical communication activities, including product documentation, UI reviews, feature videos, blogs, and product messaging.
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and content quality through AI and automation.
- Collaborate with technical writers, R&D engineers, and product engineering teams across multiple geographies to ensure technical accuracy and deliver effective solutions.
- Develop AI-powered tools and automation solutions that improve documentation development, content management, and knowledge discovery.
- Build applications using Python, LLMs, APIs, agentic AI concepts, and web technologies.
Job Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Technical Communications, Information Design, or a related field.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Passion for technology, communication, writing, and artificial intelligence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in understanding complex technical concepts and translating them into clear, concise, and useful information.
- Curiosity to explore how AI can improve content creation, knowledge management, and technical communication workflows.
- Familiarity with Git, APIs, web technologies, Visual Studio Code, or modern AI frameworks is a plus.
