As the Digital Securities Market (DSM) team based in Colombo, we support business functions within London Stock Exchange’s Digital Securities Market business, including Primary Markets, Issuer Services, Equities Trading, ETPs, Surveillance, and more.As an intern, you will gain exposure to research, data analytics and business development workflows. You will work with colleagues who bring deep capital markets expertise and will have the opportunity to learn while contributing to business-critical output in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.This role is a hybrid working role, with a blended approach of home and office working.Role Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a range of workflows across different divisions including Issuer Services, Research & Analytics and Primary Markets Business Management.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the DSM Colombo Team
  • Learn and develop knowledge of London Stock Exchange’s capital markets product offering.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partially or fully qualified in a degree or professional qualification in Business, Economics, Finance, PR, Communication, Marketing or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of AI trends and automation
  • Knowledge of SQL and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau and building dashboards.
  • Interest in programming languages such as Python and R.
  • Interest in CRM tools such as Salesforce.
