Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the team as an Intern-Autonomation. This role will enable you to support the Autonomation team in developing and maintaining automation solutions that improve manufacturing processes. Assist in data analysis, troubleshooting, programming, and continuous improvement projects while gaining hands-on experience in industrial automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance of automated machines and equipment.
- Help collect, organize, and analyze machine and production data.
- Assist in creating Power BI dashboards and Power Apps to support business decision-making and process monitoring.
- Support PLC and Arduino programming activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in machine testing, debugging, and validation activities.
- Assist in documenting automation projects, procedures, and technical reports.
- Help prepare basic user guides and training materials for end users.
- Research emerging automation technologies and provide recommendations for improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and business teams on ongoing automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or recently completed a Degree in Engineering. (Autnomation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering)
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming.
- Basic understanding of Arduino and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Power BI and Power Apps is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Exposure to automation, robotics, IoT, or manufacturing projects.
Skills Required
- Undergraduate or recently completed degree in Engineering, preferably Automation Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming
- Basic understanding of Arduino and embedded systems
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Exposure to automation, robotics, IoT, or manufacturing projects
- Familiarity with Power BI and Power Apps
