KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with engineers to identify opportunities for automation within existing textile machinery.
- Involve creating basic 2D or 3D models for modifications that integrate mechanical components with sensors and actuators.
- Develop and test mechatronic systems. Work on designing and building jigs and fixtures that combine mechanical elements with electronic controls.
- Utilize CAD software, program basic microcontrollers, and collaborate with machinists to fabricate the final parts.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Final Year Undergraduate in Engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic.
Skills in CAD / CAM, Electrical / Electronic control systems, PLC and microcontroller programming.

- Final-year undergraduate in Engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic)
- Skills in CAD / CAM and creating basic 2D/3D models
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic control systems
- Experience or ability in PLC programming
- Experience or ability in microcontroller programming
- Ability to develop and test mechatronic systems and design/build jigs and fixtures
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and machinists for part fabrication
