Job Description
The Intern, Robotics Process Automation position requires a creative problem solver to develop automated solutions for a global organization. Responsibilities include analysis, development, support, implementation, and scaling of process automation in a high paced enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement new processes in Blue Prism in accordance with internal coding standards.
Identify optimization opportunities (e.g., elimination or process steps; use of an application interface vs. a user screen).
Analyze, assess, and clearly document requirements, exception handling and metrics to facilitate RPA implementation, testing and support.
Enhancements to existing automation.
Comprehension and documentation of compliance to the CBI risk management framework (controls, policies, procedures) applicable to business, financial, & IT.
Collaboration with the rest of the RPA team and business units to coordinate and plan for testing, go-live, support and remediation.
Collection, capture, and communication of metrics, risks, updates and status with the RPA team and stakeholders.
Day to day bot monitoring; react to problems in the environment and resolve them.
Participates in investigation and remediation of issues as required.
Challenge the status quo, favor simple and highly impactful solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing education in one of the following areas; Computer Science, Math, Physics
Team player, flexible, and outcome focused
Strong self-direction and initiative; willingness to take complete ownership over projects and tasks
Effective communication skills both oral and written
Committed to finding solutions to challenges and enjoys creative problem solving
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities in a very dynamic, changing environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence at all levels and geographic locations; awareness of cultural differences
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Robotics Process Automation (RPA) tools (e.g. Blue Prism)
Advanced MS Excel skills, well versed in writing macros
Familiarity with data visualization and dashboarding
Experience in global business services or shared service environment preferred
Demonstrated experience managing exceptions and providing support in fast paced transactional processes.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
Primary work environment is professional corporate office
Ability to travel commercially to domestic and international locations
The salary range for this role is:
$19.00- $29.50 an hour
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
