Your challenge:  

We are looking for an execution-focused, data-driven, and AI-literate Interim Growth & Marketing Lead for Spain (January – September 2026) to ensure the successful delivery, optimization, and continuous evolution of our growth and marketing initiatives toward our ambitious goals.

This role blends hands-on execution with strategic thinking, turning the existing strategy into measurable outcomes while shaping quarterly plans and iterating based on learnings and performance insights. You’ll play a key role in validating growth opportunities through experimentation and in ensuring that execution remains agile, efficient, and aligned with business priorities.

You will work hand-in-hand with the central Marketing, Product, and Operations functions, as well as with the teams running acquisition campaigns, to ensure that Spain’s go-to-market plans are delivered on time, on budget, and with maximum impact. The ideal candidate combines operational excellence with the ability to connect insights to strategy, driving sustained performance and fostering a culture of data-informed, test-and-learn execution.

Your responsibilities:

Marketing Execution & Coordination
  • Own marketing performance reporting and growth KPIs for Spain, including acquisition and retention

  • Drive ES marketing steering, making data-informed decisions on budget allocation, channel mix, and campaign optimisation to deliver against growth objectives

  • Oversee the delivery of the Spanish marketing and growth roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic and commercial objectives

  • Translate the strategy into quarterly and monthly execution plans, ensuring clear prioritization and resource coordination

  • Lead ES campaign planning and execution, including creative brief development and cross-channel campaigns

Growth & Experimentation
  • Collaborate with local Product and central Marketing teams to plan and prioritize a pipeline of high-velocity growth experiments that align with the defined strategy.

  • Own and execute local growth initiatives — from hypothesis design and test setup to measurement, analysis, and iteration

  • Collaborate with Product and Ops teams to optimize the customer funnel and identify conversion barriers and opportunities

  • Partner with Product on PLG initiatives to drive organic and in-product growth

  • Work with the acquisition team to interpret data and surface learnings that inform new test ideas and performance improvements

  • Manage and optimize CRM and WOM initiatives to improve activation, engagement and conversion

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with central marketing, analytics, and brand & product marketing functions to shape and localise GTM execution

  • Serve as the local lead for Marketing & Growth, representing ES needs in cross-functional planning

Manage and mentor a Growth Marketing Executive

Your profile:
  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or GTM, ideally in a fintech, SaaS, or tech-enabled services

  • Track record of driving experimentation-led growth and channel diversification

  • Strong command of CRM, lifecycle marketing, and funnel optimisation

  • Proven ability to integrate AI tools into marketing workflows

  • Strong collaboration skills — able to partner effectively with acquisition, brand, and product teams.

  • Highly data-driven, execution-focused, and capable of operating in a turnaround environment

  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English

  • Experience in the Spanish self-employed and SMB market is highly value

  • Experience working in matrixed or global organisations is a plus
