Leads Taxfix’s multi-country accounting and treasury operations across Germany, Spain, and the UK. Responsibilities include month-end and year-end close, statutory and Group accounting, consolidation, financial controls, reconciliations, audit readiness, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and Record-to-Report processes. The role manages and develops the Finance Operations team, partners with auditors and senior stakeholders, and improves processes, documentation, automation, and NetSuite-related workflows.

Lead and scale Taxfix’s expert-assisted digital tax services business, owning strategy, revenue, margin, pricing, growth, retention, service operations, AI integration, and P&L. Build scalable hybrid human-digital delivery models, improve unit economics and customer outcomes, establish performance KPIs, and align Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Data, Legal, and People teams around growth and execution.

Own group-wide brand strategy, positioning, product integration, brand systems, research, and accountability. Lead end-to-end ATL campaigns from briefing through measurement while partnering closely with product, marketing, operations, and creative teams. The role is highly hands-on, requiring strong creative judgment, analytical rigor, customer empathy, service design interest, and effective use of AI to scale brand work within a small team.

Build and own core tax product features from discovery through production, specializing in frontend or backend engineering. Collaborate cross-functionally, design reliable services and APIs, improve scalability and developer experience, and use AI-assisted tools for development, testing, debugging, and documentation. Contribute to technical strategy, DevOps practices, maintainable code, and responsible AI adoption while delivering customer-focused outcomes in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

Build and own core tax-product features from discovery through production operation. Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to solve customer problems, design reliable services, and deliver measurable outcomes. Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly across implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation. Contribute to technical strategy, developer experience, automation, observability, maintainable code, and cross-functional engineering practices.

Provide empathetic customer and accountant-partner support through chat, email, and phone. Troubleshoot issues, guide onboarding, conduct sales follow-ups, document product feedback, create help-center content, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and support operational reporting during seasonal peaks. Develop expertise in UK tax processes while meeting service, satisfaction, and response-time targets.

Operate and improve Taxfix’s enterprise cloud infrastructure, identity management, networks, devices, applications, and security controls. Lead Okta and enterprise identity governance, integrate and configure new systems, maintain backups and compliance, develop automation, provide third-level application support, and tune application performance. Collaborate with SRE, platform engineering, and application owners on risk management, incident resolution, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure improvements.

The Director of Operational Finance will optimize financial operations, drive compliance, lead a finance team, manage projects, and enhance AI adoption.

Lead product vision and roadmap for Taxfix's self-filing consumer product in Germany. Drive AI-native product development, experimentation (A/B, bandits), two-brand strategy, multi-team delivery, and expansion into year-round financial services while partnering with Commercial leadership and ensuring delivery transparency.

Lead and own the company topline revenue model, redesign it for scalability and auditability, build subscription economics (cohorts, retention, churn, LTV) into planning, run scenario and what-if analyses, align KPIs, deliver board/investor reporting, support pricing/ROI decisions, mentor junior analysts, and automate planning/reporting workflows.

Lead development and delivery of AI-augmented People applications and integrations using no-code/low-code and engineering collaboration. Define roadmap, prioritize stakeholder needs, build integrations (HiBob, Ashby, Peakon, Postgres), ensure data integrity and security, run change management and enablement, and iterate on AI-human collaboration patterns to improve hiring, workforce planning, performance, and org design.

Transform data into marketing strategies, applying advanced analytics and AI to influence customer lifetime value, acquisition costs, and revenue. Collaborate with teams to ensure data quality and model accuracy, and communicate insights to stakeholders for data-driven decisions.

Operate and architect enterprise cloud and infrastructure services; lead identity management (Okta); integrate and secure systems; manage networking, device management, backups, observability, and performance tuning; build automations and provide third-level support and incident collaboration with SRE and platform teams.
