The lead accounting analyst is a key member of the RTR Team, responsible for being the first escalation point of contact for internal customers, track, evaluate and propose improvements to the operational performance of RTR team.
What you will do
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Intercompany accounting related processes, to provide guidance and develop technical skills & knowledge of other junior analysts.
Perform complex account reconciliations and MEC processes and complex accounting issues.
Review and approve Journal entries, account reconciliations as assigned.
Coordinate closing and other key deliverables assigned by Supervisor.
Identify and lead opportunities to improve, automate, simplify, or standardize processes; creates projects to execute on those opportunities.
Responsible to execute assigned SOX controls and other activities related to internal and external audit requirements.
Build strong relationship with key stakeholders.
Work closely with markets and local accounting teams to resolve discrepancies, issues, and queries in a timely manner by escalating to Supervisor as required.
What you need
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
Fluent spoken and written English/Portuguse is a plus.
Familiar with SAP, Blackline, Oracle or JDE.
Experience using HMF.
