Costaterra is a private members only residential community in Comporta – Portugal. It combines luxury living with top-tier hospitality, offering incredible dining, a world-class golf course, spa services, outdoor pursuits, and immersive local experiences.

We’re looking for a Intercompany Accounting Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting our Group’s financial operations, with a strong focus on intercompany processes and intragroup transactions across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll work within a dynamic and collaborative team, helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial flows throughout the organization.

What you will do?

  • Manage and oversee intercompany transactions across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely settlements.
  • Review and validate monthly intercompany costs, ensuring alignment with agreements and internal policies.
  • Support the monthly close by preparing, reconciling, and reviewing intercompany balances.
  • Ensure all intercompany entries are supported with complete and compliant documentation for accounting, audit, and tax purposes.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over intercompany processes and support improvements.
  • Coordinate with teams across different countries to ensure correct cost allocation, accurate bookings, and timely issue resolution.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and help mitigate intercompany‑related risks.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree or master’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Audit, or Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or financial management (international group experience is a plus).
  • Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations is valued.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international teams.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and results‑driven.
