Interactive Media Designer

Please note, this is primarily a Graphic Designer role, with some motion graphics responsibilities.

Job Purpose:

Cendyn is seeking an Interactive Media Designer to work at an award-winning digital agency serving the hospitality industry. This is an excellent mid-level position within a dynamic, multi-disciplined creative department. We are looking for someone that cannot only produce high-quality interactive media in a tight deadline environment but also help support a small team of Interactive Media Associates and Contractors at various levels.  

Qualified individuals will possess a degree in Design or Animation, and/or have 3+ years' experience in a creative department. They must possess a strong ability to work well with others as a team and possess an unrelenting desire to learn new technologies with the ability to adapt these new technologies/concepts into our processes. Animation skills and a good eye for design are required, preference given for candidates with video editing proficiencies.

The candidate should be adept at utilizing Google Web Designer, Google Marketing Platform: Studio, GreenSock libraries, HTML5, JS, and CSS. Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop,  Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere is required. Bonus points for a working knowledge of animation tools like Lottie and Adobe Express. The majority of work will be producing digital ads for international resorts & hotels.  

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other internal departments on daily projects as well as continually working to make a better work flow inter-departmentally 
• Managing personal work load and deadlines
• Animating digital ads including standard banners, dynamic banners, and video banners 
• Video editing for digital ads, social media, websites, and internal projects 
• Designing digital ads and other collateral 

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design or Animation 
• 3+ years' experience in creative department 
• Hands on experience with Digital Advertising 
• Excellent animation, video and graphic design skills 
• Strong understanding of Digital Advertising, conception through production 
• Working knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects, Adobe Express, & Illustrator 
• Fluent in Google Applications: Google Web Designer, Studio, Google Sheets, & Google Fonts  
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JS 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products 
• Tenacious attention to detail and QA skills are a must 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & produce near flawless work 
• A portfolio of recent work showcasing creative skills required
