Job Description

Chief Operating Officer/Integrator

The COO/Integrator is responsible for aligning the company’s operations with its strategic goals, ensuring efficient service delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role demands a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial leader who is comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in driving change. The COO/Integrator will oversee daily operations, develop scalable processes, manage financial performance, and lead the leadership team in executing the company’s vision. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Operational Management: 

  • Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure they align with the company's strategic goals. 
  • Lead the service delivery and internal processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. 

Process Optimization: 

  • Develop and refine processes to remove bottlenecks, enhance productivity, and support the company’s rapid growth. 
  • Implement technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and scalability. 
  • Oversees systems such as O365, Azure, and EOS Tools, ensuring they are effectively integrated and utilized across the company. 

Team Leadership: 

  • Lead and mentor department heads, providing them with the resources and guidance needed to succeed. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation across the organization. 
  • Facilitate weekly Level 10 (L10) meetings, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities. 
  • Provides guidance, mentoring, and coaching to the leadership team to develop their skills and leadership capabilities. 
  • Collaborates with the Visionary to develop succession plans for key leadership roles. 

Financial Oversight: 

  • Monitor operational budgets, analyze financial data, and make informed decisions to align financial strategies with operational goals. 
  • Use Power BI to analyze financial data and inform strategic decisions. 
  • Manage the Finance department to set and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial goals. 

Strategic Planning & Execution: 

  • Lead quarterly and annual strategic planning sessions to set and align company objectives. 
  • Ensure that the Sales to Delivery Transition process is smooth and efficient, providing strategic support to Sales and Consulting teams. 

Risk Management: 

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with department heads. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Analyzes company risks and develops plans for mitigation, including employee retention, market fluctuations, and operational focus. 

Client Relations: 

  • Maintain high standards of service delivery, addressing any operational issues that arise. 
  • Represent the company in key meetings, ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with their needs. 

Innovation & Change Management: 

  • Drive operational innovation by staying updated on industry trends and best practices. 
  • Lead change management initiatives to adapt to the evolving business landscape. 

Performance Management: 

  • Set, track, and analyze KPIs to ensure alignment with growth targets. 
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with department heads to review performance and address challenges. 

Culture & Vision Alignment: 

  • Ensure that the company’s culture, vision, and goals are aligned with the individual’s work style and leadership approach. 
  • Encourage a work environment that balances structure with flexibility, allowing for entrepreneurial thinking and proactive decision-making. 

Integrator 

As the Integrator, you will be the lynchpin that ties the company’s operations together, ensuring all major functions are aligned, healthy, and working toward the greater good of the business. The Integrator is a critical role within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework and is responsible for executing the business plan to build value and achieve or exceed planned P&L results.

  • EOS Champion: Expertise in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) with 5+ years of experience running a business using the EOS model. 
  • Virtual Business Expertise: Experience operating in a virtual business environment. 
  • Technology Background: Background in custom software solutions, particularly with the Microsoft Data Stack, and data analytics. 
  • Scaling Experience: Proven experience in scaling a business that was later sold profitably.
