About our Implementation Team


At Emi, we focus on solving real problems for our customers and candidates, which is why we are a customer-centric company. Our Implementation team is responsible for the initial diagnosis of the client, which involves onboarding them to our platform, analyzing their recruitment process, and identifying their pain points. Additionally, the team is in charge of configuring the platform, leading this process in collaboration with the product and tech teams, and focusing on creating a solution to the pain points identified by the customers and adding value to their recruitment process.

We have differential aspects in our product, such as the ability to integrate with third-party platforms and enable greater horizontality in a massive recruitment process, providing value to our end users. Currently, integration projects come with significant leadership and change management challenges that we tackle from within our team.



What you'll be doing


As an Integrations Project Manager at Emi Labs, you will be responsible for the execution of the integrations with 3rd parties in the markets where we operate (USA & Latam).

Integrations are critical to ensure the effective delivery of our Product, so this role has a high impact on the business and a lot of room to grow over time.

This role will work closely with our tech engineers as well as internal and external business stakeholders, so a technical background with a business perspective will help you a long way in executing the role successfully. Integrations are critical to ensure effective product delivery so we are looking for curious and high-energy project managers who can develop, define, grow, and perform our Integration projects in Emi Labs to achieve our mission together.

Tasks / Activities

  • Co-define the strategy with our Engineering Team for every integration we pursue with 3rd party systems (like HR Information Systems).
  • Collaborate with the Implementation Project Managers to analyze client requirements to execute each integration, and align them with our Engineering Team and the 3rd party.
  • Oversee the execution of all of our integrations, ensuring that they are delivered on time and as planned.
  • Manage Emi’s integrations’ backlogs and help organize and prioritize weekly sprints to meet all planned deadlines.
  • Utilize internal tools to configure no-code integrations, enabling data exchanges between different systems without the need for programming.
  • Triage and resolve support cases related to our integrations, delegating tasks to Integrations engineers where necessary.
  • Produce integration documentation and help minimize implementation times.
  • Make thoughtful trade-offs among a diverse set of teams and priorities.
  • Continually perform user research to collect insights on our user experience and value proposition.
  • Own implementation KPIs related to integrations and optimize them over time.

What we're looking for

  • +4 years experience managing projects and relationships with big companies, ideally implementing integrations-related software solutions with enterprise accounts.
  • Experience leading projects that require coordination of many stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of technical concepts related to software development or integrations (e.g. API, SFTP, web services, etc.).
  • Persistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your project and team are successful.
  • Extreme curiosity, a bias for action, and an appetite for learning and growth.
  • Creative problem solving: thinks big, starts small, grows fast.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in Spanish and English, native is a plus.
  • Empathy and a willingness to help others across the company.
  • Ability to work in a high-growth environment and adapt to changing scenarios and uncertainty.
