Job Description: Integration Engineer I
The Test Engineer in the Services Department is responsible for creating and executing test plans for end-to-end testing of very large size and complex systems Vanderlande (warehouse) systems. This starts with identifying relevant Requirements, performing a Risk analysis, creating test Designs and Implementations with sufficient coverage and Analyzing and Documenting the test results. Thus, ensuring the quality of updated releases received from the product teams. This role involves coordinating with various teams, contributing as a Authority to testing processes, test strategy, test systems, test plans, test competence and ensuring that all products meet the required standards before deployment.

Within Vanderlande, Test & Deployment team in the Service Deployment Group is responsible for the Life-cycle Services intake, validation, deployment and after care of material handling solutions worldwide.
The Test & Deployment Team is an internationally operating service organization for our customers in the Warehousing and Parcel business units. Apart from the traditional service delivery aligned with ITIL Change Management we are also dedicated to continue developing ourselves as a business partner for our customers.
Your position
The Test Engineer is one of the competence leading members of the Test & Deployment team. The team is responsible for the complete Test & Integration process for new software releases which are running at our customer sites. Your focus is on providing quality and innovation in the test domain of the software deployed at customers with special attention for mitigating the technical risks that are inherent to complex systems. Next to that the other aspect is to help grow and coach the test team members in test competence and execution.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have an engineering degree in Electronics /Instrumentation /Electrical /Computer
- 5+ Experience in System/Software Manual Testing
- Hands-on Knowledge of Software Testing or development life cycle. (V-Model, CMMi, Agile) and Test processes.
- Hands-on Knowledge of QC, Oracle pl/sql & Unix
- Writing & Review test cases, test plans, Integration Plans & System Design
- Willing to Travel extensively as per business needs and on short notice.
- Strong Communication Interpreting and Analytical Skills.
- Good Team Player, Proactive, Self-Lerner
- Knowledge of test tools like Quality Center, Jira, Polarion etc.
- 50-60% International travel is required.
