Integration Engineer – Enterprise Applications
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Integration Engineer with expertise in Workato and a strong background in integrating enterprise business applications. This role will focus on designing and maintaining end-to-end integration solutions that support key business functions including CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), Customer and Product Master Data Management (MDM), Entitlements and Product licensing provisioning and eCommerce platforms.
You will partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and IT to automate processes, synchronize data, and ensure seamless interoperability between mission-critical systems.
- Design, build, and maintain integration workflows using Workato, enabling seamless connectivity across enterprise platforms.
- Integrate Customer and Product MDM systems to ensure consistent, governed master data across business applications.
- Support integrations for CPQ ecosystem (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Conga, Avalara, etc.) to facilitate quote generation, pricing, and product configuration processes.
- Support integrations for entitlements and subscription management self-service, product licensing provisioning.
- Develop and support integrations with eCommerce systems (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Stripe, FastSpring) to synchronize product, inventory, order, and customer data.
- Analyze integration requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable and secure integration designs.
- Develop data mappings, transformations, and logic using Workato recipes, scripts, and reusable components.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration performance, implement error-handling routines, and optimize job reliability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for recipes, interfaces, data flows, and standard operating procedures.
- Promote reusability and standardization of integration patterns across the enterprise.
- Ensure integration solutions align with security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience with Workato, including recipe design, connector usage, and automation framework development.
- Proven experience integrating systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, ServiceNow, Marketo, and eCommerce platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with CPQ systems, Customer/Product MDM, and complex enterprise workflows.
- Deep understanding of API technologies (REST, SOAP), authentication methods (OAuth2, API Keys), and event-driven architectures.
- Proficient in data transformation and scripting (JavaScript, Python), and familiar with data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
- Solid grasp of data modeling concepts, especially related to customer, product, pricing, and transactional data.
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
- Ability to work across multiple projects with attention to detail and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to translate business needs into technical outcomes.
- Workato Certification(s) or equivalent experience with other iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
- Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, NetSuite for Quote to Cash integrations.
- Background in eCommerce integration patterns (e.g., catalog synchronization, real-time order processing, digital storefronts).
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with data governance practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
