Position Summary

Culligan Quench continues to grow through acquisition, requiring accurate and timely integration of acquired customer, contract, billing, service, route, asset, pricing, and operational data into core systems and workflows. The Integration and Data Management Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions is a hands-on role designed for a high-potential analyst who will support acquisition integration execution while developing the skills required to progress into a broader integration leadership role within 12–18 months of hire.

This role works directly with seller parties before closing and serves as a primary day-to-day coordination point for seller data collaboration. The Analyst will help sellers understand data requirements, required file formats, submission timelines, and issue-resolution needs while collecting, clarifying, validating, cleaning, normalizing, and mapping required data for due diligence analysis, Day 1 readiness, and ingestion into Culligan Quench systems. The Analyst will support the development and refinement of seller data files, including the seller flat file, and help ensure that acquired customers are onboarded accurately with minimal disruption to billing, service delivery, customer support, and sales assignment processes.

The right candidate will combine data fluency, operational discipline, strong seller-facing communication skills, and curiosity about AI-enabled process improvement. This individual will work closely with IT and integration leadership to develop practical AI capabilities that improve seller data intake, automated validation, field mapping, exception identification, workflow summarization, and integration status reporting. Over time, these capabilities should reduce manual effort, improve data quality, accelerate seller follow-up, and make the integration process more repeatable and scalable.

Summary of Key Skills:

  • Strong data fluency across the full integration lifecycle — collecting, clarifying, cleaning, normalizing, mapping, validating, and reconciling seller data from multiple source systems and templates.

  • Confident and professional seller-facing communication as the primary day-to-day collaboration point — setting data requirements, file formats, and submission timelines, running structured follow-up routines

  • Comfort working with imperfect, inconsistent data from multiple seller systems, using disciplined validation and exception management to drive files to Day 1 readiness.

  • Strong Excel and data preparation skills, with the ability to use templates, trackers, dashboards, AI-enabled tools, and automation to support integration readiness.

  • Ability to maintain monthly KPI reporting, identify data quality trends, and provide clear updates on seller responsiveness, open requests, exception aging, migration progress, and integration readiness.

  • Strong ownership, organization, and follow-through in a deadline-driven M&A environment, with the learning agility to progress toward a broader integration leadership role within 12–18 months.

Responsibilities

Seller collaboration, data collection, and integration support:

  • Serve as a primary working contact for sellers during data collection, helping them understand integration requirements, data templates, file formats, timing expectations, and open issue resolution.

  • Work directly and collaboratively with sellers to collect customer, contract, billing, service, route, asset, pricing, and operational data required for diligence and integration planning.

  • Lead seller data follow-up routines by tracking open items, clarifying data definitions, resolving inconsistencies, coordinating responses, and escalating blockers that could impact Day 1 readiness.

  • Validate seller-provided data for completeness, consistency, and usability, partnering with sellers to close gaps and improve file quality before migration.

  • Prepare, clean, normalize, and map seller data into Quench integration templates to support upload into Qforce, ERP, billing, service, and reporting systems.

Operational execution and Day 1 readiness:

  • Support acquisition integration workstreams by preparing seller data for ingestion and coordinating with IT, Finance, Customer Care, Field Operations, Billing, and Sales teams.

  • Assist in building and maintaining our integration trackers, issue logs, data readiness checklists, and cutover materials to support accurate and timely Day 1 execution.

  • Partner with project managers and senior integration team members to identify data-related risks, resolve exceptions, and document decisions impacting customer onboarding, billing, service, and support.

  • Help test and reconcile migrated data to confirm that customer accounts, equipment, routes, pricing, billing schedules, and service requirements are accurately reflected in Quench systems.

  • Develop working knowledge of Quench systems and integration processes to independently manage defined portions of smaller or less complex integrations over time.

AI capability development with IT and process improvement:

  • Partner with IT, integration leadership, and business stakeholders to define, test, and refine AI-enabled capabilities that improve seller data intake, data cleaning, field mapping, exception identification, and seller follow-up workflows.

  • Help translate recurring seller data challenges into practical AI and automation use cases, including document/data extraction, automated validation, anomaly detection, workflow summarization, and integration status reporting.

  • Identify recurring data quality issues and recommend improvements to seller data request templates, validation rules, integration checklists, and standard operating procedures.

  • Support development of reporting and dashboards that track seller responsiveness, data readiness, open seller requests, migration status, exception resolution, customer onboarding, and post-close operating performance.

  • Document AI capability requirements, test results, adoption feedback, and process improvements to help IT scale repeatable integration tools across future acquisitions.

Development path and continuous improvement:

  • Build the functional, technical, and cross-functional integration skills required to progress toward an Associate/Manager of Integration and Data Management role within 12–18 months.

  • Learn Quench’s acquisition integration playbook, system workflows, data standards, and cross-functional operating model through hands-on deal support.

  • Document lessons learned, common seller data challenges, and process improvement opportunities to make future integrations more repeatable and scalable.

  • Contribute insights from data analysis to help improve customer experience, reduce churn risk, support revenue continuity, and increase acquisition synergy value.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of professional experience, including 1–3 years of data analysis, data management, business analysis, system implementation, customer onboarding, or operational project support experience.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data queries, pivot tables, LOOKUP functions, data cleaning, reconciliation, and structured file preparation.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Power BI, reporting tools, Salesforce.com, ERP systems, QuickBooks, CRM data, billing systems, or operational data platforms preferred.

  • Experience working with AI-enabled tools, automation, data extraction, workflow improvement, data quality tools, or IT-enabled process improvement initiatives is a plus.

  • Exposure to M&A integrations, software implementations, customer onboarding, or operational transformation projects is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with imperfect, incomplete, or inconsistent data from multiple seller systems.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work professionally with sellers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on detailed tasks, and support cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • High learning agility, curiosity, and willingness to develop into a broader integration leadership role within 12–18 months.

  • Willingness to travel and work non-standard hours when necessary to meet acquisition deadlines.
