Key Responsibilities
Closing
- Obtain payment information from the Account Manager.
- Confirm policy effective dates.
- Bind policies for home, auto, umbrella, PAF, and other applicable lines.
- Download RCEs, applications, policies/DEC pages, and invoices (when provided by the carrier).
- Create invoices in EZLynx when the carrier does not provide one.
- Prepare endorsement checklists for home, auto, or both as needed.
- Upload all documents into EZLynx, create a signature envelope, and send applications and checklists to the customer for signatures.
- Send auto ID cards, policy documents, receipts, and related materials to the customer.
- For loan closings, send RCE, policy/DEC page, and invoice to the processing team, then upload the sent email to customer documents.
Maintenance
- Monitor EZLynx for signed applications and endorsement checklists; follow up on missing documents.
- Download signed applications and upload them to the carrier when required.
- Track leads for the Account Manager (if applicable).
- Update closing dates as needed and send revised policy documents to loan officers or processing teams.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance (home, auto, umbrella)
- Experience with policy binding, endorsements, and documentation
- Proficiency in EZLynx or similar CRM systems
- Strong document management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail in handling policy data and effective dates
- Experience with invoicing and billing coordination
- Ability to track, follow up, and manage pending requirements
- Familiarity with loan closing and processing coordination
- Strong communication and time management skills
