We're looking for an Insurance Product Manager to help build the most loved car insurance on the planet. You'll be part of the Insurance Product team, working closely with Actuarial, Insurance Operations, and Underwriting to grow Lemonade Car profitably — shaping coverage, pricing, and the product roadmap that drives it all forward. From connected cars to rating plan sophistication, you'll own meaningful work that moves the product and the business.
We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.
Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.
In this role you'll
Develop new car products that meet the needs of emerging customer segments — including connected and autonomously driven cars
Advance our countrywide Car strategy through forms, coverages, policy language, and rating plan improvements that keep our protection cutting-edge
Partner with Actuarial and Underwriting to develop coverage, pricing, and eligibility requirements that balance innovation with financial soundness
Build product specification documents, define project requirements, and work with the Product team to prioritize and ship features that make a real difference for customers
Collaborate with Insurance Operations to move product changes through regulatory approval and into production — smoothly and fast
Research distribution channels, market trends, and competitor moves, turning findings into recommendations that grow the business
Measure the impact of product changes to support smarter decisions and ensure the product keeps evolving in the right direction
What you'll need
7+ years of P&C experience, with at least 5 years in personal lines insurance product development, product management, or state management
Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and sharp attention to detail — you identify trends early and turn them into action
A strategic, ownership-driven mindset — you challenge the status quo and bring creative solutions to the table
Strong technical skills — SQL, Python, Looker, or similar tools, including experience building dashboards or reports, preferred
Solid Microsoft Office or Google Suite skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-moving environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a natural collaborator across teams
Genuine enthusiasm for AI and a real commitment to growing alongside these tools — it's core to how we work here
Ability to work in a remote environment
Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas.
Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants from these states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Lemonade Compensation & Benefits Highlights
The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Lemonade and has not been reviewed or approved by Lemonade.
-
Healthcare Strength — Cigna-administered medical plans provide multiple options (EPO/OAP/OAPIN/HDHP) alongside dental, vision, prescription coverage, disability, and life/AD&D. 2026 plan materials and state notices indicate broad essential health benefits with mainstream networks.
-
Retirement Support — A tiered 401(k) match structure is documented, offering meaningful employer contributions when employees save. This complements equity grants/RSUs that are commonly included in total rewards.
-
Leave & Time Off Breadth — Employee-reported baselines around defined PTO and company holidays, plus flexible sick time, position time off as a strength. Parental leave is frequently described as generous for the U.S. context, though candidates should confirm current specifics.
