Summary:
The Insurance Processing Specialist I is responsible for processing insurance documents and emails received with an emphasis on items that need special handling. Individuals should possess a clear understanding of all processes and business rules and how each function integrates with client specifications.
Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrates an advanced level insurance processing and is responsible for updating insurance information according to defined business rules.
- Understands all insurance document types and the lender placed processes.
- Follows procedures to ensure information is updated accurately and production and quality standards are reached.
- Manages dedicated client team email box to ensure all borrower, client and agent communications are addressed within the specified service level agreement.
- Corrects exceptions identified while working proactive reports and accurately reports exceptions to management.

Qualifications:

Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proficient with MS Office - Intermediate Outlook & Word
- Previous property insurance and or mortgage servicing experience
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workflow and work in a fast paced environment
- Customer service oriented
- Works well in a team environment
- Attendance/Quality/Production must meet or exceed PFI standards
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline
- Advanced Excel knowledge
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
- Repetitive motion. Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
- Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.
- Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
- Sedentary work. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
- Worker not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
Pay Ranges:
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including skills, experience, work location and more. We offer competitive pay while still allowing for compensation growth within the position and company.
