Department Overview

Our Servicing experts service all Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA Finance loans originated by Walker & Dunlop as well as certain life insurance company, bank, and CMBS loans.  Our Servicing experts are the borrower’s primary point of contact and ensure that the requirements of the investors are met from loan closing through payoff.  The Department consists of six main functional areas: Loan Administration, Asset Management, Insurance Compliance, Investor Reporting, Treasury, and Compliance. W&D’s Servicing portfolio is the 8th largest in the U.S., and W&D is one of Fitch’s highest-rated Servicers, with a rating of CPS1-.

The Impact You Will Have

This position manages invoice, paid receipt and reimbursement processes related to insurance.  

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain disbursement reports.
• Obtain invoices for escrowed loans, paid receipts for non-escrowed loans.
• Update servicing system- Insurance Module as applicable
• Collaborate with Insurance Analysts and Loan Administrators on next steps relative to unsuccessful attempts and escrow issues related to processing invoices.
• Process insurance premium disbursements and insurance claim payments daily
• Process insurance premium reimbursements and insurance claim reimbursements
• Complete general administrative tasks as necessary, including:
  • Data entry
  • Document management and Imaging
• Assist team leads with team initiatives and projects.
• Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Attendance is generally 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday with the ability to work up to 2 of those days remotely.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years invoice processing experience preferred.
• Exposure to commercial insurance coverage - Property (including Flood, Wind) and General Liability (including Workers Compensation) preferred.

This position has an estimated base salary of $60,000 - $75,000 plus discretionary bonus. An employment offer is based on the applicant’s relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
