Chrysalis is looking for an insurance billing specialist to join our team in our Orem, Utah office. This person will work directly with Lisa to support our ABA Therapy for children with Autism. We use CentralReach to record and bill our hours and to submit the billing to insurers. We are looking for a driven individual with Insurance billing experience. ABA knowledge is a plus, but our team is definitely willing to train and mentor a motivated individual.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications. The ABA billing department is a two person team that coordinate their efforts to accomplish all monthly billing. This will be a great opportunity for you. Please apply and let us meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Bill initial and secondary claims
- Review and correct claim rejections.
- Submit corrected claims when necessary.
- Print and mail claims that cannot be submitted electronically.
- Follow up with parents who have questions or who are paying copays.
- Work with a team to accomplish all monthly tasks.
- Other related assignments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 1+ years experience as a billing specialist.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, high-energy attitude
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)
