WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Event Planning Assists department managers with programs and event planning, and leads special events committees as assigned by the Department Manager.
- Process Improvement Confers with appropriate Department Managers to suggest process improvements in order to maintain peak productivity, and to streamline methods and operations.
- Liaison and Building Networks Connects with local businesses to increase Franciscan Health visibility and discuss partnership opportunities in order to increase the value of the benefit offerings within the Senior Promise Program.
- Insurance Sales Consults with Medicare beneficiaries and enrolls them into the appropriate Medicare program.
- Quality Assurance Monitors and assesses operational processes to ensure quality standards are met and the effective delivery of benefits.
- Training & Education Presents Medicare 101 across all Franciscan facilities and the communities served by Franciscan Health in order to provide education to coworkers and local communities.
- Data Management Provides assistance with statistical data and report related to program operations for both Senior Promise and Insurance Services to Department Managers.
- Customer Service Serves Senior Promise and Medicare Insurance customers by phone, electronically, or in person in order to answers inquiries and works to resolve insurance claim issues.
- GBS Database Maintains GBS database for all Senior Promise and Insurance Services.
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma/GED
- Required within 60 days of hire Life and Health Insurance License
- Preferred AHIP Certification Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred 5 years Customer service, medical billing, collections and Medicare insurance counseling
