Department Overview 

 

Our Servicing experts service all Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA Finance loans originated by Walker & Dunlop as well as certain life insurance company, bank, and CMBS loans. Our Servicing experts are the borrower’s primary point of contact and ensure that the requirements of the investors are met from loan closing through payoff. The Department consists of six main functional areas: Loan Administration, Asset Management, Insurance Compliance, Investor Reporting, Treasury, and Compliance. W&D’s Servicing portfolio is the 8th largest in the U.S., and W&D is one of Fitch’s highest-rated Servicers, with a rating of CPS1-. 

 

The Impact You Will Have  

 

This position manages invoice, paid receipt and reimbursement processes related to insurance.    

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Monitor and maintain disbursement reports  

  • Obtain invoices for escrowed loans, paid receipts for non-escrowed loans 

  • Update servicing system as applicable 

  • Collaborate with Insurance Analysts and Loan Administrators on next steps relative to unsuccessful attempts and escrow issues 

  • Process insurance premium disbursements and insurance claim payments daily 

  • Process insurance premium reimbursements and insurance claim reimbursements 

  • Assist in the Insurance Claims and Disbursement process 

  • Complete general administrative tasks as necessary (data entry, mail, document management, support special projects)

  • Assist team leads with team initiatives and projects 

  • Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders 

  • Other tasks related to building a career in servicing 

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

  • Attendance is generally 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday with the ability to work up to 2 of those days remotely 

 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
