What will you contribute?
You will be responsible for the development of technical training to fulfill client contracts and requirements so that customers, partners and employees receive the best training experience.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • The Sr.  Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑quality learning solutions that support software training, user adoption, and generative‑AI‑enabled content creation. Key responsibilities include:
  • Learning Design & Development
    • Design and develop functional and technical learning solutions, including classroom training, eLearning modules, microlearning, videos, and blended learning experiences.
    • Apply adult learning methodologies to create effective and measurable training programs.
    • Translate complex software concepts, workflows, and system interactions into intuitive learning experiences.
    • Create storyboards, curriculum maps, assessments, learning paths, and job aids.
    • Distill complex or abstract information into clear visuals, graphics, and narratives using creative instructional design techniques.
  • Software & Technical Training
    • Analyze and decompose software features, SaaS environments, and enterprise tools into step‑by‑step walkthroughs and simulations.
    • Build system tutorials, sandbox practice environments, hands‑on exercises, and process documentation.
    • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, SMEs, QA, and operations teams to validate content accuracy and technical workflows.
  • Generative AI–Enabled Content Development
    • Use generative AI platforms (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Synthesia, Canva AI, etc.) to:
    • Draft outlines, scripts, assessments, images, voiceovers, and scenarios.
    • Convert legacy materials into AI-ready formats.
    • Automate content updates, version control, and documentation refresh cycles.
    • Develop AI-assisted learning experiences (chatbots, scenario engines, knowledge retrieval tools).
    • Review AI-generated content for accuracy, instructional quality, tone, inclusiveness, and bias.
  • Content Production & Tools
    • Develop high-quality materials aligned with company branding and design standards, including eLearning modules, videos, facilitator guides, participant guides, and PPT presentations.
    • Use tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, Synthesia, and Figma.
    • Create and manage documentation using Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and LMS/LXP platforms
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Conduct ongoing reviews of existing learning materials to ensure relevance, accuracy, and usability.
    • Refine and optimize content based on SME feedback, learner data, UX insights, and performance results.
    • Maintain version control and ensure content scales across multiple user types and product releases.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of instructional design experience, preferably focused on software or SaaS training.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and experience designing eLearning, videos, and blended training.
  • Ability to translate complex software workflows into simple, clear training materials.
  • Hands-on experience creating step‑by‑step guides, simulations, and technical process documentation.
  • Experience using Generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Synthesia) to create or enhance training content.
  • Proficiency with common authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (Cornerstone, Workday Learning, Docebo, etc.).
  • Strong writing, communication, and visual design skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work with cross-functional teams, and operate in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfort collaborating with product managers, SMEs, and engineers to ensure accuracy and clarity.
