About The Role & Team

We are launching a next-generation institutional brokerage platform designed for global fintechs, RIAs, brokers, proprietary trading firms, and foreign affiliates. As the B2B Sales Lead for North America, you will own the regional strategy and pipeline, build relationships with key institutional prospects, and convert interest into signed relationships.

This role is ideal for a highly driven commercial leader who understands the brokerage ecosystem, can navigate long sales cycles, and can partner with Product, Operations, and Compliance to deliver a world-class institutional solution. You will be one of the first hires on our institutional sales team and play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market model.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle for North American B2B opportunities, including:
    • Fintechs seeking clearing/custody/API brokerage support
    • RIAs and asset managers requiring custody and execution
    • Introducing brokers (fully disclosed, omnibus, and piggyback structures)
    • Proprietary trading firms and high-touch institutional clients
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline; develop regional market strategies and revenue forecasts.
  • Partner closely with Product, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Compliance to ensure alignment between client needs and platform capabilities.
  • Create and deliver compelling product demos and institutional presentations tailored to client type and technical sophistication.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to negotiate commercial terms, onboarding requirements, and integration timelines.
  • Collaborate with technical integration teams to facilitate API/FIX onboarding for clients.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, trade shows, and events across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Gather client feedback and help shape the future roadmap for the institutional platform.
  • Maintain CRM discipline; provide regular reporting on pipeline, conversion, and revenue projections.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, risk management, accounting or a related quantitative field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
  • 4-6+ years of institutional sales, business development, or clearing/custody sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of brokerage infrastructure, and institutional client models.
  • Existing network of fintech, RIA, and broker-dealer contacts in North America.
  • Demonstrated ability to close multi-party, multi-stage B2B deals.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to tailor complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Compliance, and Operations teams.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience selling institutional solutions.
  • Familiarity with institutional onboarding frameworks (FINRA 4311, omnibus documentation, EDD requirements, FIX connectivity).
  • Understanding of the competitive B2B brokerage landscape and emerging fintech verticals.
  • Comfort providing requirements to technical teams and with technical concepts (APIs, FIX, OMS/EMS).
