Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate daily with senior institutional sales representatives to support client engagement and business development efforts.
- Draft and distribute morning market notes and relevant research to clients.
- Manage and track client communications, including logging interactions in a CRM system.
- Coordinate and attend meetings with research analysts, management teams, and institutional clients.
- Work closely with D.A. Davidson’s research analysts and trading desk to fulfill client requests and provide timely market insights.
- Assist in the distribution of financial models & research reports
- Participate in daily and weekly sales and trading meetings to stay informed on market trends and firm initiatives.
- Generate ideas and provide strategic thinking to enhance client service and drive revenue.
- Entertain clients and represent the firm at industry events and meetings.
- Adapt to a dynamic workflow with evolving priorities and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics.
- 1–2 years of experience in finance or a related industry is a plus, but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, macroeconomics, and current market events.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for financial markets.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and priorities.
- Intellectually curious with a desire to learn and grow within the organization.
- Personable and engaging, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
