As an Insight Lead, you’ll be leveraging your skills and tools available to derive powerful insights to support decision making and delivery of the work we do in Corporate Affairs. You’ll gather and analyse information from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends that inform strategy and business decision making across a broad range of corporate stakeholders.
As well as this, you’ll be:
- Supporting the creation and development of CEO and bank ExCo level flagship insights, leveraging existing, adjacent and creative data sources and employing the latest technology techniques
- Using internal business knowledge and external research to provide new propositions and messaging that delivers increased shareholder value
- Using multiple sources of information, such as customer insights, colleague feedback, primary research and relevant business operational data to provide insightful analysis
- Defining, designing and delivering powerful data-driven insight and analysis which supports decision making and generates value for the bank
- Focusing on creating and driving economic value by using your knowledge and expertise to challenge and influence business decision making
To be successful in this role, you’ll need extensive experience of working with strategy and insight teams, coupled with evidence of delivering high quality insights that drive senior stakeholder decision making. We’ll also expect you to have experience in data visualisations, dashboards, insights and data applications, especially within the context of research and insight environments. And you’ll have strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues and present ideas to senior stakeholders.
Along with this, you’ll need:
- Extensive analytical experience in translating complex data into powerful insights that drive action
- A strong background in directing data and technical professionals in sourcing and analysing deep research to drive insight
- Experience of primary research, including how to access insight from hard to reach audiences
- Knowledge of emerging data and research disciplines that guide decision making, organisational connectivity and delivery of value from data
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of data, risk, regulatory and finance policies and guidelines, and any emerging trends and best practices within the industry
- Extensive knowledge of how data is used within a financial organisation both operationally and for reporting and analysis, together with a proven data control and reference data background
