Job Summary
eMed seeks a highly diligent and organized Inside Sales/Proposal Coordinator to join our corporate team as we expand our footprint in employer, state, and federal government programs, particularly focusing on GLP-1 and Drug Screen Programs. The Inside Sales/Proposal Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the sales team by managing client relationships, generating leads, and ensuring smooth sales operations. This position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to achieving sales goals. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, manage accounts, and support the overall sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Qualification:
 

  • Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities through research, calls, and email outreach.

 

  • Maintain and update a database of prospective and existing customers using CRM tools.


Sales Support:
 

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.

 

  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating sales meetings, webinars, and demos.

 

  • Follow up with leads and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.


Customer Relationship Management:
 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound inquiries.

 

  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.


Administrative Tasks:
 

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

 

  • Monitor sales metrics and generate regular reports for management.


Collaboration:
 

  • Work closely with marketing teams to align campaigns with sales strategies.

 

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and order fulfillment.


RFP/RFI Tasks:
 

  • Leveraging AI tools for content generation, editing, and proposal development.

 

  • Building a comprehensive library of reusable materials for proposal responses.

 

  • Coordinating RFP requirements review, Bid/No-Bid processes, and win strategies.

 

  • Developing compliant responses to employer, state, and federal RFIs and RFPs.

 

  • Front end coordination with sales staff for RFP identification and vetting.


Qualifications:
Education:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field preferred.


Experience:
 

  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, proposal writing, or related roles.

 

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software (Salesforce, HubSpot).


Skills:
 

  • Strong work ethic and advanced, verbal and written communication skills.

 

  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities, esp. in a fast-paced work environment.

 

  • Solid understanding of employer, state, and federal procurement strategies.

 

  • Outstanding proposal writing and project management skills.

 

  • Exceptional writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Adobe Professional, and advanced AI tools.

 

  • Ability to work independent and as part of a team.

 

  • Growth mindset with a positive, results-oriented attitude.
